Discover the wild south of Reunion Island by heading to the magnificent Grand Anse beach in the morning and enjoying a good cocktail under the palm trees. You can then climb the Piton Grand Anse to see the sea view from the top as well as the whole beach.
It's a short walk that starts at the Petite-île viewpoint (just up the beach, on the road back up) and takes around twenty minutes to discover everything.
For lunch, you can head to Chez Jo, a restaurant located right next to the Manapny Basin, a magnificent rock pool. Here you can sample local specialties in an ideal setting.
In the afternoon, you can head to the Langevin River and why not climb up to the Grand Galet waterfall to take some magnificent photos of the waterfall? Then head for Anse des Cascades to discover the sublime palm forest and its waterfalls cascading into the sea.
