Take in the breathtaking views from the Maïdo viewpoint (at the top of the Maïdo road). Once there, you can admire the magnificent view of the Mafate cirque and a view of the Piton des Neiges mountains. After this, you can head down a little further to the Parc de la Luge, where you can try out the famous mountain sledges sliding down a large steel slide for several minutes.
For lunch you can go to the Parc de la Luge restaurant and in the afternoon head for the Bassin Cormoran via a small path near the Eperon roundabout. This little path starts with a little ladder to climb down a little slope to climb down to the pool. If you are lucky, you may see a waterfall falling into the pond. Once you've arrived after a 15-minute walk, enjoy the coolness of the pool and the beauty of the place.
