Day 1: Discover the Salazie Circus

As soon as you arrive at the airport, we leave for the Salazie circus. The beautiful road will take you to majestic waterfalls, including the famous "Bridal Veil", before arriving at the picturesque village of Hell-Bourg, in the heart of the Cirque! This first day will immerse you in the heart of traditional Reunion architecture, and you will enjoy the magnificent Creole huts of this charming village.

Day 2: Hiking in Salazie

After we eat breakfast. We will enjoy the magnificent setting of the Salazie circus during a hike that we will adapt to your level and that of the children. The Mare à Poule d'Eau hike offers a relaxing setting for a family picnic. The Trou Blanc hike will take you to the bottom of a canyon and give children the feeling of being adventurers!

Day 3: Discover the wonders of the East of the Island

After breakfast depart for the South Wild (from Ste Rose to St Joseph). Our first visit is to the baroque church of Sainte Anne. Then we will stop on the suspension bridge of the East River, a listed historical monument. On the way to Saint-Philippe, you will take the fascinating route of lava, dotted with various flows dating from previous eruptions.

Day 4: Lava Tunnels and the Wild South

After breakfast, we set off to discover Cap Méchant before continuing with a beautiful walk along the botanical trail Mare Longue, a loop that will make you discover the plants and trees endemic to Reunion.

After lunch, we will follow the traces of the 2004 eruption by exploring the underground galleries created by the volcano: fascinating!

Day 5: Easy Canyoning on the Langevin River

After Breakfast, we head towards the Langevin River with a stop at the magnificent Grand Galet waterfall. We can canyon in the river; this easy ride is suitable for children aged 7 and over. Sensations guaranteed! Then we will try not to get lost in the labyrinth of Champ Thé!

After lunch, we will enjoy the wild beach of Grand-Anse with its exceptional late afternoon light.

Day 6: Discovery of the Piton de la Fournaise

After breakfast, we will leave early in the morning for the exceptional site of the volcano where we will enjoy the lunar landscapes of the Plaine des Sables, the magnificent panorama of the Pas de Bellecombe, and the crater of Dolomieu culminating at 2632 meters! Several walks are possible: along the edges of the enclosure, up to the Formica Leo crater (1h30 walk), or up to the Dolomieu crater (5h walk).

Then we will go to the museum of the City of Volcano for a very informative and playful visit that will give us lots of interesting information about volcanism in general and the Piton de la Fournaise in particular. The 4D cinema session will enchant young and old!

Day 7: Hiking around L'Entre-Deux

Early morning departure for the Makes window on the heights of Saint-Louis, which offers a magnificent panorama of the Cirque de Cilaos. From here we will take a hike or a tree-climbing trail in the middle of the cryptomeria forest! In the afternoon, we will discover the Entre-Deux: one of the beautiful villages of Reunion.

Day 8: Day in St Leu

After breakfast, depart for Etang-Salé where we will discover its volcanic abyss and its beautiful black sand beach. Relaxation in an idyllic setting. Then head to the Stella Matutina Museum in Saint-Leu, a fascinating interactive museum for the whole family! We will understand that the history of the island is linked to that of the exploitation of sugar. We can then visit Kélonia, the sea turtle observatory.

Day 9: Helicopter Tour and Maïdo Hike

After breakfast at the hotel, depart early in the morning for a helicopter flight over the island to discover Reunion from the air. An unforgettable experience for the whole family!

Then we will leave for the Piton du Maïdo at 2200 meters of altitude. You will have an exceptional panoramic view of the majestic circus of Mafate! Several hikes will be proposed.

Day 10: A Day at the Sea

Breakfast at the hotel. The western region has some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. We will discover coral reefs in transparent kayaks or pedalos. From the port of Saint Gilles, we can take a boat trip to observe the local wildlife in its natural environment: turtles, dolphins, whales (from July to September)...

Day 11: Cap Noir and Saint-Denis

After breakfast depart for a short hike from the village of "Dos d'Ane". We will take the loop of "La Roche Verre Bouteille" (2 hours walk/ altitude difference: +/- 370 m) that will lead us to the promontory of Cap Noir where we will admire the breathtaking landscape of the Cirque de Mafate one last time.

Then head to downtown Saint-Denis, where we will discover the Barachois district, and according to the time we have, the Jardins de l'Etat and the lively streets of Paris and Marshal Leclerc, full of beautiful Creole houses. Finally, transfer to the airport for your return flight.
